The Chef

Chef Shahir Massoud graduated from New York’s esteemed French Culinary Institute, and has worked in the kitchens of Mario Batali (Lupa), Jean-Georges Vongerichten (The Mark Hotel) and Saveur Magazine. He has a business degree from York University’s Schulich School of Business, and is one of four co-hosts on CBC’s new hit lifestyle show, The Goods.

Each morning, classic Roman pasta shapes & noodles are made fresh from our imported Italian extruders and then cooked to order. Romana Pizza

At Levetto we proudly serve a classic Romana style pizza; the same ‘walking’ pizza that true Romans grab when roaming the streets. Our traditional recipe is based on seasonal ingredients and exceptional technique – in fact, our airy dough is 85% water, resulting in a light and crispy pizza unlike any other. Our topping combinations are fresh, balanced, and designed to pay homage to classic Roman flavour profiles.
